This book is an excellent tool. After working thru the book, I showed it to both our Human Resource person and the owner of the company. They were so impressed they had me setup training workshops for the entire staff and also teach "Quickhand" in the 1st week of our 2 to 6 week training class for new employees. The employees must take notes during calls and write a summary at the end of the call, speed and accuracy is very important as these are legal documents subsequent to subpoena. We found that if the employees where left to "make up" there own shortcut notes, the notes would be rather difficult to understand or decipher. So consistency was the key and Quickhand came to the rescue.
Not exactly what I was hoping for in terms of relating to common script.
Too many shorthand symbols for someone who failed shorthand some decades ago.
learned it at school and wanted to try to reteach myself and possibly my girls to use in school. this is a great workbook helps alot!
The book has easy to follow steps and if you invest the time, in less than a month you will learn how to write in quickhand.I loved how the book was designed. It feels as if you're listening to the teacher as you read the instructions. I recommend this quickhand book to anyone who wants to learn quickhand writting.
