After reading all of the previous books in this series, I had no doubt I would enjoy this one as well! And I did very much! The rich background history of Avery and Kenton really drew me in and I loved how their lives intertwined and bought them together. It was heartfelt and genuine and I loved it! And as always, I love when Kimberly brings in all the other members of the Callaghan/McFadden family and show us snippets of where their lives are. I almost feel like I"m living with them from reading the first book of Mikayla and Ethan to now reading about their newborn baby! haha! And thank you for finally addressing the tension between Kenton and Bennett! I've been waiting for that for so long!Thoroughly enjoyed the book! and just when I finished last night, I got the email about the next book about Mitch! Can't wait for April to read that book!
There were several times I wanted to stop reading this book. It was slow reading until about halfway through the book. Up until then I didn't think Avery and Kenton would get together. This was the first book in this series that I've read. I've enjoyed her other books, but this may be the last book I read in this series. I did appreciate the highlight on athletes and their abusive behaviors though.
I have read all books in the Callaghan-McFadden series so far and have already pre-ordered the next one because Kimberly Rae Jordan's overcoming faith-in-Jesus-filled books never disappoint. Of course, it was nice to catch up with the characters who've had their own romance told already. Took about a week to read this sweet love story and really enjoyed the fact that it was snowing where I am while reading about their winter. Nothing like clean, faith-filled entertainment for a hobby.
I'm always so disappointed because these stories have to end. I could read on and on and be quite happy. This story was fascinating even though I'd never seen a hockey game. It makes me want to see a game. I adore the writing. The trust lesson spike deeply and personally into my life and what I was going through. I pray Jordan keeps writing so I can continue reading as I've read all her books up to now.
I was so excited to finally read the new book and it was worth the wait!! I just love this series of books, the stories are great and keep you engrossed. I am so thankful that you take the time to write such heart warming books but always with the presence of God. Thank you and I can't wait for the next book. Please keep this series with the Callaghans and McFaddens going, these family stories are so wonderful!!
This book fits in so well with the rest of the series. It progresses the previous stories without ever making you feel that the book changed it focus from the main characters. I enjoyed the growth of the characters. I look forward to each book and have not been disappointed. If this is the first book you read by this author, what a treat you will have going back to read all the ones in the past.
This was another great story of this joined family. I really enjoyed the comparisons in this book to the beginning story where the families meet. I can’t wait to read the next one!
