I am not sure what would get me to downrate a calendar. If it left out a month or had extra days in February I guess I could be pretty harsh.The photos have a glossy finish and good resolution. They are a bit contrasty and the color is saturated compared to being there, but still very nice.

All devices incl. Apple get more complicated in function every season and all the new features and upgrades are nearly overwhelming for ordinary users. This was a required book for my trial ad class - There's some good bits, but not worth the cost.

Very complicated, but if you are interested in law it is excellent but you should buy entry level law texts first.

Do not buy this book unless you have the original book. Its simply a compendium of updates that makes no sense on its own. It is not a cheap way to obtain exposure to the subject.

This is a schlocky work of trash designed to produce emotionless monsters. Some of my favorite sentences, taken from the first chapter:-"Exercise your body as well as your mind."-"Witnesses should not merely say that their leg was cut by a saw, but that they felt an intense, burning pain of hot metal slicing through their flesh."-"An effective way to look at someone is to focus on the bridge of the person's nose rather than the pupils of the person's eyes. The speaker avoids the intensity of eye contact, while the listener perceives that the speaker is looking at the listener."The tragedy is that the authors are probably correct in most of what they assert. The legal system is broken, trial lawyers are buskers, and there is no justice in the United States. God help you if you're poor and are accused of a crime.Have I even written a criticism? I basically just said, "This book is an accurate reflection of a twisted profession." Wow; maybe I should give the book 5 stars.

Excellent book on Vedanta for both beginners and advanced practitioners, Frawley writes clear, concise and very helpful descriptions and insights on this most ancient of belief systems. I have a library of over 1000 spiritual books and this one is in my regular rotation of Top 20 Books for -re-reading on a regular basis, since the mind continues to always fall back into its old habitual patterns of egocentric thinking, one must be vigilant in taming the monkey mind and its fascination with the illusory, material world. This book, coupled with regular daily meditation practice will go a long way toward realization.

Sincere in tone, lucid in style, Dr Frawley's book on Veda is a wonderful study on the subject for the new comer and a book that is concise in outlining concepts for further study and introspection for those that are more familiar.Of particular note is the clarity of the presentation in drawing distinctions between Buddhism and Veda (as well as similarities),explaining key points made by great individuals such as Ramana Maharshi,Krishnamurti and others, delving into key psychological concepts allowing one to see how Jung was readily influenced by these teachings, where a Freud would not be, and while Adler's disbelief in ego would allow for a "guiding fiction" jiving well with the eternal Self if taken either as a reality or an idea. Social interest and harmony with ALL remains the goal, This Is It.Not to fall into illusion which can be labelled neurosis, bad faith or inauthenticity is a worthwhile pursuit no matter how it is classified.A wonderful introduction and a sincere work.

This is a fine work on the art on awareness and the unknown, and clinging to the known. I find David Frawley a western treasure, that has provided otherwise inaccessible access to Vedic Sanskrit knowledge and practices especially mantra yoga. This is not a long book but I find gems in each of Frawley's books that I have found no where else. Thank you David Frawley.

Worse cookbook I have ever purchased. Not well written. Hard to find the recipe you want. No index. Needs proofreading. Have been a cook for over 60 years and have read many, many cookbooks and this is the worst. Bought an air fryer for the first time and thought this book would help...NO!

A lot of empty space on some pages. Title of food on each page is such a light color it's difficult to read. A few recipes are repeated. I wouldn't buy it again and may return it.

Poorly written, no pictures and many many grammatical errors! A lot of the recipes were repeated, don't waste your time or $$$.

Not enough recipes and instead of cups or regular measures it is in metric...hard to understand.

I've only used it a couple of times the recipes I tried we're good

There were no pictures in the book, so it was not too easy to determine what recipes to try.

As the owner of an Indian meal kit delivery service (tiffintrove.com), I am usually skeptical when people put new twists on old Indian recipes.Carla Hall will NOT disappoint. She has some marvelous new twists on classic recipes, like an Indian nectarine chutney. And it's not just Indian: she takes basic ingredients and transforms them into dishes from around the world: Italian, Irish, Thai, French, Greek, Moroccan, and of course All American. If you can only have one cookbook in your life, this is it.I wish Carla Hall was my momma from another poppa bc I would love to eat this woman's home cooking. Even my niminy piminy children find these recipes appealing. Though my son drew a skull and crossbones over the peas on page 19, they can't wait to help make the peach cobbler and are excited about trying her other recipes.

I love Carla Halls recipes and entire style of cooking. this one really appealed to me due to the fact that it contains her favorite comfort foods.it just seemed fitting for the winter season to see what she has on her menus. you wont be disappointed at all. there are recipes for all sorts of things, including vegetarian options . its also offered at a wonderful price. ive seen it for more money at a local large bookstore.

We have tried numerous recipes from this book and all have been highly received. When trying new recipes, the norm is we will have a 50-50 chance of liking it. But with this book, it has been a 100% and great find so far. Definitely recommended, depending on the kind of food you like to cook, of course.

I loved Carla on Top Chef and watched her prepare a fantastic pea side dish that got rave reviews from the show's experts. I wanted that recipe, now I have it and am so excited (green peas are a favorite for me). The book is witty and interesting, a great buy from a great chef and a very nice person.

Wonderful book. I had never seen much of Carla until she was on the chew. I think she is such a great chef. Her recipes are very contemporary yet many of them take me back to my simple childhood roots. The book has such a wonderful combination of recipes. I love this book. She deserves much more recognition than she gets.
